Day 1: Flying High Like a Glider!

  • Bible Reading: Romans 8:1-4; Ephesians 5:18-20; Colossians 3:15-17

  • Devotional: Have you ever seen a glider airplane? It doesn't have an engine, but it can fly super high by catching a strong breeze. Gravity still pulls the plane down, but the wind is a stronger force that lifts it up! Sometimes, we face tough or sad days. Being thankful doesn't mean pretending those hard things aren't there. It means catching the "wind" of God’s Holy Spirit! When you choose to say "thank you, God" even when things are tough, His joy lifts you up above your worries. The Apostle Paul wrote about being thankful while he was stuck in a messy prison, not relaxing on a sunny beach! God's love is always stronger than our biggest fears.

  • Think About It: What is one tough thing that made you feel down or worried this week? How can thanking God change your mood today?

  • Action Step: Write down or draw three small things you are happy for today. Say them out loud to God like a superhero victory shout!

Day 2: The Awesome Memory Checklist

  • Bible Reading: Psalm 103:1-5; Ephesians 1:7; Exodus 15:26

  • Devotional: King David had some really bad days. He made big mistakes, and people didn't always treat him well. But in Psalm 103, David literally told his own soul: "Hey, do not forget the amazing things God has done!" Sometimes, we hear about God's forgiveness so often that we forget how incredible it actually is. Guess what? God does not forgive you because you got an A+ on a test, cleaned your room perfectly, or acted flawlessly. He forgives you because His bucket of grace is so huge it never runs dry! He is also the God who heals you and puts you back together. Let’s keep our hearts excited about His goodness every single day.

  • Think About It: Have you ever forgotten a really cool gift someone gave you? Why do you think it's important to remember God's daily gifts to us?

  • Action Step: Think of one mistake you made recently. Tell God you are sorry, and then loudly thank Him for completely wiping that whiteboard clean with His love!

Day 3: From the Mud to a Royal Crown

  • Bible Reading: Psalm 40:1-3; Psalm 103:4; Romans 8:16-17

  • Devotional: Imagine falling right into a deep, sticky mud pit. You can't climb out on your own, and you feel totally stuck and messy. That is what a hard situation or a big mistake can feel like. But God doesn't just pull you out of the mud and leave you shivering on the grass. The Bible says He cleans you up and places a beautiful, sparkling royal crown right on your head! He names you as His own child—a prince or a princess in His kingdom. In the Bible, God used people with messy stories (like Rahab and Ruth) to do incredible things. Your mistakes don't disqualify you from God's team; they just show how amazing His rescue plan is!

  • Think About It: Does a mistake ever make you feel like you aren't good enough for God? How does it feel to know He sees you as royalty instead?

  • Action Step: Stand up straight, pretend to adjust a shiny royal crown on your head, and declare out loud: "I am a child of King Jesus, and He has a great plan for me!"

Day 4: Becoming a Storm-Flying Eagle

  • Bible Reading: Psalm 103:5; Isaiah 40:28-31; John 4:13-14

  • Devotional: When regular little birds see a big storm coming, they hide in bushes or shake with fear on a rooftop. But do you know what an eagle does? An eagle spreads its giant wings and uses the storm's powerful winds to fly above the dark clouds! When we try to find happiness in toys, video games, or popularity, we can end up feeling tired and empty inside. But when we wait on God and talk to Him, He fills us with fresh, super-bird strength! You don't have to run away from hard times or feel weak. God promises to renew your energy so you can soar right through the rain.

  • Think About It: What makes you feel tired or completely drained? How can spending time with Jesus give you a boost of energy?

  • Action Step: Spend two quiet minutes sitting completely still. Don't ask God for toys or favours; ask Him to fill your heart with His eagle-like strength as you rest.

Day 5: Knowing the Shepherd's Voice

  • Bible Reading: Psalm 103:6-7; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10; Hebrews 4:16

  • Devotional: Imagine going to a massive stadium to watch a big game. You can see what the players are doing from way up in the seats, but you don't actually know them personally. Long ago, the people of Israel saw the amazing miracles God did—like parting the sea and sending food from the sky—but they didn't really understand His heart. Moses was different. Moses spent time talking with God like a best friend. In the New Covenant, you don't have to watch God from a far distance! His Holy Spirit lives right inside you. You are His sheep, and you can learn to recognize His gentle, loving voice guiding you every single day.

  • Think About It: What is the difference between knowing about a famous person and being someone's best friend? Which one does Jesus want with you?

  • Action Step: Pick one awesome trait of God today (like "God is kind" or "God is always fair"). Look up a verse about it, and thank Him for being exactly who He is!
